This client came to us after the HOA raised concerns about soil erosion from his yard onto the street. With recent plumbing work leaving the yard dug up and grass sparse, and the existing plants around the house old and outdated, we developed a terracing plan using steel, boulders, and limestone block walls to stabilize the landscape. To create a more welcoming entrance, we lowered the height of the walls beside the entry stairs and added lighting for nighttime use. Plantings around the front entry were carefully arranged to bring a sense of balance and symmetry to complement the home's naturally asymmetrical design. Now it is a beautifully functional landscape that addresses erosion while enhancing curb appeal and livability.
