Facing rising property taxes, this landlord wanted to modernize both the interior and exterior of his duplex to boost appeal and profitability. We removed the tall fences blocking the front yards and installed a lower fence around the front unit to enhance street visibility. Off-street parking was added with walkways leading to both units, while a taller fence around the back unit provides privacy from neighboring properties. Each entry courtyard was designed uniquely with low-maintenance, carefree plantings that complement the distinct character of each home.
