Whispering Oaks - Evergreen
This UT biology professor and avid gardener came to us for help with drainage and the sloping yard around their Driftwood hillside home. We excavated along the uphill side of the house and built a limestone drystack retaining wall to redirect water away from the foundation. Using some of the excavated soil, we created a berm above the wall to slow water flow and planted a native bed between the two features with quality soil. To complete the design, we installed limestone skirting under the deck and stairs, leading down to a large stone walkway that connects the deck to the vegetable garden, blending function with natural beauty.
