For this project, we removed an old concrete and decomposed granite patio and excavated along the house to address water and erosion issues affecting the foundation. After pulling out the soil, we carefully sloped the ground away from the house and installed drainage to guide water safely around the property and down the hill. We then poured a concrete bench with a cantilevered redwood section, refreshed the yard by re-laying sod and creating planting beds, and installed posts to hang a sail for shade. The highlight was building a custom putting green, giving the client a fun and functional space to practice their game.
